Whilst nature offers its limitless array of colours, textures and characters, thirty years of craftmanship allow Barry McKee to producesolid, robust and functional pieces, aptly reminiscent of the solid megalithic tombs to which Dolmen Design owes its inspiration.

Retaining the organic forms of the original wood, only Danish oils are applied to enhance the natural beauty and qualities of the elm.

All pieces, whether purchased or individually commissioned, are resolutely individual, and will add a unique dimension to the character of your home or the home of a loved one.

Born and bred in Armagh, Barry McKee has worked within the woodwork trade for over thirty years with vast experience in designing and producing major interior pieces, including traditional wooden kitchens and stairways. Dolmen Design is the fulfilment of a long-held dream to work within the craft sector.
